The use of high-quality Sika Sarnafil PVC membranes installed properly and professionally by Bi-State Roof Systems is the partnership key for building owners who want and require long-lasting performance with few, if any, leaks or disruptions.

A major expansion for the area's most prestigious shopping mall required 138,000 square feet of ballasted rubber single-ply membrane system. The fast-track design and build of the project required the roof system installation to be started and completed between mid-October and early January. In progress, materials and equipment were required to withstand the vortexes of a large construction helicopter.

The synthetic membrane roof system for this busy 450,000 square foot warehouse center was installed in only 90 days. A leading German-owned chain of discount supermarkets, ALDI specified an unusually thick (72 mil instead of the normal 48 mil) system. Mechanically fastened and non-ballasted, the durable membrane is warranted for 15 years. Throughout the project Bi-State worked closely with the owner's construction management executives to meet exact installation criteria. Experience with internationally used roof systems was a selection criteria for the project.
